I opened up my internet browser and I have the home page set as aol.com.  I like to read the top stories that come up, yes, this is my only source  of news.  I know we discussed this in class one time about college students not paying attention to the news but i honestly never watch tv or see a newspaper on campus (besides The Circle).  So I get my news from aol.

Anyway, I saw this article come up and I was astonished.  Professional sports are suppose to be a fun and entertaining thing for the whole family, but people are starting to take it to a dangerous level.  What are we teaching our children today by having these violent rivalries?  I know that I do not want my children growing up in a world like this.  In addition I was embarrassed to be a Yankee fan when I read this article.
